|Jerry Hostetler has a degree from Indiana University in Telecommunications (radio and TV). He is a graduate of Westview High School and has been broadcasting high school and college sporting events since 1980.
|Jerry enjoys announcing for LaGwana Media because of his passion for broadcasting. He likes using his education and experience to bring the Wesview basketball games to the
|Jerry met his wife, Fran, when he was the Sports Director at WKAM radio in Goshen. They own a retail business in Shipshewana and have 4 children. Their oldest, Eric, lives in Pieoria, IL, Matthew is a college senior in Indianapolis, and twins Nic and Stephanie are seniors at Westview.|
|Dan Byler, aka the Westview Whistler, helped broadcast some games in the late '80's while at Manchester College for the college radio station WBKE. He has also done color commentary for the Westview boys basketball games during the 1995-96 season and again, with Jerry doing the play-by-play, during the 2003-04 season for WQKO out of Howe, Indiana.
|Dan got involved in LaGwana Media because he really enjoys broadcasting, he especially enjoys working with Jerry. Before LaGwana Media he tried to be at most of the games anyway (to do his whistle), and he thought it was a shame that the Westview games weren't being covered.
|Dan is the owner of Aurora Services, who publish The People's Exchange and The Hometown Treasure. He married his college sweetheart, Dawn Crum, and together they are proud parents of seven children. The two oldest are in college, the next four are in the Westview school system, and the youngest is still at home with mom. The family attends Marion Mennonite church, and he and his wife are serving as youth sponsors.
